This Spring Canberrans can look forward to fetes, fairs, and community days bringing school grounds across the city to life with food, fun, and entertainment.

As Term 2 draws to a close and we reach the halfway mark of the school year, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you, our incredible P&C volunteers, for everything you’ve done so far this year.

When Geoff Puleston arrives at Calwell High School, he is greeted warmly by the front office staff. He greets them enthusiastically as well.
“They are such a good group of people here, so dedicated,” Geoff tells us. “They deserve recognition from us.”

This Federal election, Canberrans won't just be choosing leaders - they'll be choosing if they want sauce or onions at polling day barbecues.

Election Days are a fantastic opportunity for P&Cs to run a successful fundraising BBQ at a polling place. With high foot traffic, it’s a great way to engage with the community and raise funds. This guide covers everything you need to plan, execute, and wrap up a compliant and enjoyable BBQ event.

Welcome to the 2025 School Year!

We understand that raising concerns about your child's education can sometimes feel challenging.

As we approach the end of 2024, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of you for your dedication, energy, and commitment to support public education in the ACT.
